Sliding rail

The sliding rail is a wall rod on which an articulated support is hooked to accommodate a hand shower: it is commonly referred to as a “sliding rail” precisely because it offers the possibility of sliding the hand shower from top to bottom, allowing you to adjust the output water at the desired height.

The hand shower is connected to a mixer tap by an anti-torsion flexible hose – in smooth rubber or in braided nylon that governs the opening and closing of the water.

The best known sliding rail has a round diameter and is in chromed brass, possibly available in more than one height and also in a colored finish. Polished chromed brass, black or white are the versions available on the market, but also the more minimal version in stainless steel is very popular.

Some stainless steel sliding rails have square rods and supports and in this case they are also equipped with square hand showers.

Often they are equipped with practical shelves, possibly adjustable in height, which act as soap dishes.
